The?Wizards?are hopeful that they?ll be able to work out a sign-and-trade deal with the?San Antonio?Spurs?for Blair, but the?Spurs?may not have much interest in doing so. A free agent, the big man saw a dramatic loss in playing time for the?Spurs?this past season as both Tiago Splitter and?Boris Diaw?replaced him in the rotation. However, now with Diaw a pending free agent at season end, the?Spursmight not be inclined to let Blair walk in free agency, especially if his price is cheap.
