Three men accused in killing of Dallas man who was ... - Crime Blog

Two men are in custody and a third is wanted in the fatal shooting of a Dallas man who was killed as he chased someone stealing his car in Far Northeast Dallas.

Jaquincy Bush, 20; and Ryan Norris, 22, have been arrested on a charge of capital murder in the death of Vasile Cartojan, 45.

Demuntra Rashard Green, 18, is wanted on a charge of capital murder.

According to police records, Cartojan was talking to a friend on his back porch about 10:40 p.m. on May 19 when he heard his 2002 silver BMW start and back out of the parking spot in the 9000 block of Emberglow Lane, off Abrams Road and LBJ Freeway.

The friend told police that Cartojan ran after the car in the alley behind his townhouse. The friend heard a gunshot and then found him lying on the ground with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Cartojan was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Several witnesses later told police that they heard Norris, Bush and Green ?arguing, bragging and talking in detail about specific facts about why they killed? Cartojan for his car. The witnesses also saw the men in the stolen BMW in the area and knew that it did not belong to them.

Bush is being held on $750,000 bail. Norris is being held on $1 million bail.
