The next installment of the award-winning PBS documentary, Craft in America, is scheduled to air on Monday, October 17, 2011. (Check your local listings for times). This episode is about Family and investigates the home environments and influences of four families of craft artists and asks: ?Is talent inherited? And ?What is it like to live in a household where objects are made by hand??

The show focuses on:

I?m looking forward to the show. I really enjoyed the earlier episodes (with woodworkers Sam Maloof, Garry Knox Bennett, and George Nakashima) and I imagine this will be just as good. Specifically, getting a peek into the lives of the woodturning Moulthrops should be fun.
