Mechanical Engineer
Abener, a renewable engineering company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
??? Gather and organize information to be used for developing the design, specifications, and drawings.
??? Assist with vendor/shop drawing review to assure compliance with design/specifications.
??? Assist the specific discipline Sr. Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager with review, check and assembly of design packages, engineering calculations, bid evaluations, etc.
??? Performs technical evaluations of bids and recommendation for purchase
??? Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
??? Performs field inspections, routine check-out commissioning and startup
??? Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
??? Requires a 4 year engineering bachelor?s degree.
??? 3-7 years industrial mechanical engineering experience.
??? Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written and ability to properly and effectively communicate with all involved in industrial projects.
??? Ability to travel to field sites.
??? Must be available for temporary assignments at project job site.
