N. Korean leader to meet Medvedev on nuclear program, energy cooperation

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il arrived at a venue in eastern Siberia on Wednesday for rare talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, which Moscow says will focus on how to revive the long-stalled talks on ending Pyongyang?s nuclear programs.

Kim entered the Sosnovy Bor military base on the outskirts of the city of Ulan-Ude at 1:55 p.m. local time, hours after Medvedev arrived there.(Yonhap)
